Code of Conduct
These are the general rules to a Brain Trust event or meet-up...

Refrain from speaking over people, especially presenters and guests.

Be courteous to attendees and issue content warnings as is necessary.

Do not badger guest speakers; please behave professionally.

Be respectful of identities; Brain Trust does not tolerate discrimination or harassment.

Always be cognizant of networking, even outside the group.

Be considerate; think of the group, not just of yourself.

Do not be political; use your discretion to determine appropriate settings.

Be friendly!
The Strike System

Three Strikes, and You're Out! ***
Attendees who fail to heed this Code of Conduct will be issued a Strike. Once three Strikes are accrued, Brain Trust reserves the right to review and/or revoke membership, and ban disruptive or disrespectful attendees from future meetings.
*** The Strike System is a courtesy, but not guaranteed in every situation. Brain Trust reserves the right to ban anyone at any time for disruptive or disrespectful behavior.

If you see disruptive or disrespectful behavior you believe is deserving of a Strike, feel free to tell one of the event organizers, or send a discreet email to hello@braintrustboards.com for review.
